DHL Logistics in association with Bespoke Gardens exhibited a garden in the new Roof Gardens category at the Chelsea Flower Show 2007. Entitled 'The DHL Sun Chariot Garden', this 5x5m roof-top garden showed how you can maximise the use of space for both people and plants.
The large curvaceous seat, designed by Andrew Marson, was mounted on a turntable, allowing you to rotate the seat to face the sun, or alternatively to face away from the sun and enjoy the shade. The high slatted back also allows you to create a private space up on the roof-to and to filter out the wind.
A hit with visitors to the show, and widely featured on the BBC during the show, the judges appreciated the garden, awarding it a 'Silver-gilt' medal.
